Small, cheerful, flowers for weeks. Our most popular plant to give rather than keep — and the one we use for wedding favours.

How to keep it well
- Light
- Bright indirect, with an hour or two of direct morning sun to keep it flowering.
- Water
- When the top inch is dry, about weekly. Never leave it standing in a saucer of water.
- Flowers
- Six to eight weeks per flush. Pinch off the spent blooms and it will flower again.
- Grows to
- 25 to 30 cm — it stays small, which is part of the appeal.
- In Lahore
- Flowers best from October to March. Give it shade from harsh afternoon sun in summer and it will rest, then come back.
Toxic to cats and dogs if eaten.
